Washing Guide

The Gildan 64000 is built to last. That said, it does require a basic level of human cooperation to get there. Here's what that looks like.

Machine wash cold. Warm water won't ruin it but cold keeps the colours sharper and the fit more consistent over time. It's also better for the environment, which is relevant given that you presumably like being outside.

Tumble dry low. The shirt is pre-shrunk, so it's not going to dramatically change shape on you — but high heat over time is hard on any fabric. Low and slow is the move. Much like most things worth doing outdoors.

Do not bleach. The graphic on the front took more effort than that. Don't do it.

Do not dry clean. It's a t-shirt. That would be a lot.

Turn it inside out before washing. It keeps the graphic looking sharper for longer. Thirty seconds of effort, significantly longer lifespan. Worth it.

Do not iron directly on the graphic. If you need to iron it at all — which, fair enough — flip it inside out first. Direct heat on the print is how you end up with a shirt that tells half a joke.

A general note on care.
The shirt will hold up to a lot. It was designed to. But it works better with a little basic maintenance than without it. Treat it reasonably well and it'll outlast most of the gear in your bag. Possibly all of it.
